Why should voters elect you?

"I possess the qualities essential for an effective council chair -- good manager, policymaker and excellent consensus-builder -- qualities I have demonstrated throughout my career."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Lack of a first-class public education system. Our ability to attract and retain young families depends upon a school system that provides a top-notch education to our children. A first step has been taken by approving funds to rebuild and repair schools. But, we also must restore a rich and diverse curriculum, including core courses as well as classes such as art, physical education and music in all schools; career, technical and vocational education so students may begin careers immediately after high school if they wish; and reform of special education to serve students in local schools."
