Why should voters elect you?

"I am a progressive, reasoned leader with proven results. If reelected, I will continue to help foster and enhance our county's high quality of life."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Education is a primary concern among District 14 residents — a theme often repeated when I visit neighborhoods and knock on doors. Quality public education is the cornerstone for a safe and vibrant society. When education levels increase for all residents, crime decreases and our economy thrives. To improve education we must: 1) increase access to early childhood education; 2) build more schools and remove students from portable classrooms; 3) reduce class size; 4) eliminate the achievement gap; and 5) make college more affordable and accessible. The state must provide all children the tools to realize and exceed their potential."
