Why should voters elect you?
"Ben Kramer is an accomplished small-business owner with the skills to negotiate successfully for Montgomery County and provide fiscal accountability for our residents."
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"The most urgent issue facing Montgomery County's residents as it relates to the Maryland state legislator is the return of our fair share of state tax revenue. Currently, for every $1 that Montgomery County residents pay to the state in taxes, only 15 cents comes back to pay for Montgomery County's fiscal needs. Montgomery County needs funding for expanded and improved mass transit and roads, including the Purple Line and Corridor Cities Transitway. We also require money for new schools, school renovations and fewer portable classrooms. Additionally, the county needs increased resources to fight gang crime."
