Why should voters elect you?

"As a current chief executive officer, I have the leadership style, vision, management experience and the backbone required to be the CEO of Montgomery County."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"The most important issue in Montgomery County is a lack of trust (and accountability) of the elected officials because of a monopoly in politics. Citizens want a change and are tired of the same old politicians. As county executive, I will focus on three key issues — managed growth, public safety and taxes. I will recommend that the county executive be limited to two four-year terms and increase the inspector general's office for fiscal oversight. I will
reinstate the annual growth policy, fight the gang crisis and reduce taxes while improving county services. I will challenge the County Council on policies."
