Why should voters elect you?
"Send the Democrats a message: Playing politics with public education (Baltimore schools) and elections (potential fraud with early voting law) is arrogance deserving repudiation!"
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"In the 18th District, the most urgent issue is improving the dismal plight of many of our adolescents. The three high schools of the district are Einstein, Wheaton and Kennedy. Student performance at these schools is poor in comparison with the neighboring schools of Bethesda-Chevy Chase, Walt Whitman and Walter Johnson. This discrepancy is unacceptable. In addition, dropout rates for students among 18th District schools are higher, they are more likely to join youth gangs, and suicide is becoming a fact of life. The state senator must lead the effort to correct this situation."
