Why should voters elect you?
"I bring a new vision of leadership. I will listen, and I will lead with boldness, clarity and integrity."
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"We face the challenges of national policies that negatively impact Maryland's 4th District. The misguided and failed war in Iraq has left us isolated in the world and with shrinking federal resources to fully meet our needs for education, crime prevention, health care, transportation and expanding economic opportunities for all our residents. Our energy policy has resulted in record billions of dollars in tax breaks for oil companies while we pay record prices at the pumps without any clear strategy for alternative and renewable energy. Ordinary working families in the 4th District are looking for leadership."
