Why should voters elect you?

"Over 40 years in education, aware of students' needs, sensitive to legal parameters of public education, dedicated to separation of policymaking and administrative functions."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Maintaining the ability of the school system to continue to educate a diverse student body effectively and to serve the educational needs of a community with a wide range of expectations is the most urgent problem confronting the system. The evolving academic, vocational and developmental needs of our students will require adequate funding based on judicious use of tax dollars, talented professional and support staffing, enlightened Board of Education policies designed to provide direction to the school system in the years ahead, and administrators willing and able to operate the system within policy limits established by the board."
