Why should voters elect you?

"I seek your vote in order to represent a genuine voice of opposition to the Bush administration and work for peace and progressive politics."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Progressive voters deserve better representation. The overwhelming issue is the disappointing support of the Iraq war by Congressman Van Hollen. The congressman agrees with the Bush administration refusal to set a date for the withdrawal of our troops. I unambiguously oppose illegal preemptive wars and violations of civil and legal rights. I call for a multilateral, responsible and rapid withdrawal from Iraq. I propose a radically new foreign policy that is ethical and respectful of human and civil rights. We must end our reliance on fossil fuels and aim for an environmentally sustainable economy."
