Why should voters elect you?
"As the chairman of the subcommittee on education, I am in a great position to continue helping our county with our most urgent problem."
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"Education is the most urgent problem. While improving, our public schools still have low test scores, overcrowded classrooms, discipline problems and a need to retain our good teachers. We have a new superintendent, but it is going to take time for his programs to get the results that we expect. We will also have a new Board of Education that will need time to make their adjustments. We will have new and returning elected officials who will have to work with our school system to make sure that all of our children's needs are met."
