Why should voters elect you?

"In Annapolis, I witness the quest for justice, integrity, fairness and stability in government's actions. I bring experience, independence and common sense to that mission."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Montgomery County’s signature is its belief in great, affordable colleges, quality education and children safe from sexual predators and gangs. Montgomery’s traffic, however, robs businesses of productivity and families of time together. We deserve better. The challenge for Montgomery is securing critical state funding to meet education expectations and transportation needs. Our schools need increased construction funds, equalized cost of living, fewer portable classrooms, increased funding for gang prevention. We need college tuition caps and more places for Marylanders. Transportation funds are needed to build the Corridor Cities Transit Way, support Metro, keeping open MARC stations at Dickerson and Boyds."
