Why should voters elect you?

"As a current board member and familiarity with the system as an educator, I am better prepared to serve the families of the district."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"With the continuous requirements of the No Child Left Behind Act, our school system is faced with providing sound and effective educational experiences for the student and being confident they will successfully complete the High School Assessments and Maryland School Assessment. Although we are making steady progress, we must maintain that level and bring on board those students who are not quite there. At the same time, with rising costs for energy and fuel, we must find ways to balance the budget and use all resources wisely."
