Why should voters elect you?

"I sponsored laws that reformed health insurance, authorized stem cell research, required use of renewable energy and secured funding for education and county priorities."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Traffic gridlock is the most urgent issue facing the people of Montgomery County. We need a comprehensive plan that incorporates a variety of approaches to meet our transportation needs. For this reason, I fought for the construction of the ICC and continue to support increased funding for transit and intersection upgrades. I also support light rail projects like the Corridor Cities Transitway that would link the upcounty to the Shady Grove Metro and the Purple Line and would directly connect the Bethesda and Silver Spring Metro stations."
