Why should voters elect you?
"During my eight-year tenure, we have fully funded education and reduced property and income tax rates. My consistent votes helped preserve rural character."
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"There are candidates in this election who are stumping on growth but have accepted major contributions from large out-of-county development corporations. Beware of candidates who call for a 'growth plan' that supersedes the Maryland-mandated comprehensive plan. Their plan for growth is more likely a plan to grow beyond the boundaries of the development districts. My funding comes from family and friends and contributions from local small businesses. I will continue to represent the conscience of the community and the heart of the county."
