Why should voters elect you?
"I have experience as an educator, manager and evaluator. A retired civil servant and veteran, I bring diversity and a new perspective to the board."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"There are two urgent problems facing us: The Board of Education is being expanded from five members to seven members, and the expected increase in student population resulting from the base realignment act, which moves additional Army units to Fort Meade. The board has to redefine and restructure itself to accommodate the two new members. Before the board can address any problem, it needs to restructure itself. How will the board handle the influx of students? Construct new schools, use modular classrooms or make additions to the existing schools."
