Why should voters elect you?
"I am running for reelection because I feel I have the background, knowledge and legislative leadership positions to best serve the residents of District 39."
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"The need for infrastructure such as roads, increased transit, new school buildings and higher educational facilities to meet the demands of a growing and thriving community is the most pressing issue facing District 39 and upper Montgomery County. We must take Metro north beyond Shady Grove with the Corridor Cities Transitway, and we must complete the ICC. We must build the new schools necessary and renovate our older schools to meet 21st-century demands. A well-educated workforce with a high quality of life will be the key to our continued success."
