Why should voters elect you?
"I've never taken one penny from developers. Leggett's taken more than $1,000 each from 44 developers. End developer preference."
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"Property tax relief. The county's five-year budget plan exceeds the county's property tax limit each year for five years, including an 18 percent increase in property tax revenue next year. I'll stick to the county property tax limit while in office. Leggett led the fight for a huge 20 percent local income tax increase, publicly stated he wants a 50 percent gasoline tax increase, and opposed the county property tax limit in a recent county-wide mailing. Leggett equals property tax increase. You've seen my green-and-white 'Robin Ficker Property Tax Relief' signs on the lawns of thousands of homeowners who agree with me."
