Why should voters elect you?

"I will restore effective leadership, constituent service to District 33. I will collaborate with legislators to secure funding, resources to address our district's priority issues."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Quality education is the most urgent issue facing our district, including reducing class size, recruiting teachers and securing capital budget funds to build and repair schools. Citizens are concerned about protecting the quality of our communities with the forecasted growth due to BRAC. We must work with local and state officials to ensure adequate public facilities and comprehensive transportation infrastructure without compromising environmental protection. Due to our proximity to the Chesapeake, we must accelerate efforts to restore the bay, preserve open space and improve water and air quality. Other issues include holding down taxes, fiscal responsibility and affordable health care."
