Elected offices/civic activities:

Member, board of directors, Aspen Hill Civic Association; member, community policing work group, Mid-County Neighborhood Initiative; member, National Night Out committee for North Gate Park.

Why should voters elect you?

"I've been here almost all of my life, and I know the community and its needs. I live here, and I care deeply."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Out-of-control housing prices combine with low average levels of education and incomes in Aspen Hill to contribute to rising crime, especially MS-13-style gangsterism in the Spanish-speaking youth community. We need to find a way to promote values-filled youth activities that aid in education and socialization and lead away from the criminal life."
