Why should voters elect you?

"I have the management skills, technical training and world-of-work knowledge to effectively oversee MCPS's operation, performance and budget implementation, in a transparent manner."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Three issues: The scholastic gaps that are existing between the general students and the African American and Hispanic students and the lack of career/ technological advanced curriculums to assist transitioning from school to work for students with disabilities and from low-income families, and inadequate number of counselors in middle and high schools. To overcome existing scholastic gaps, MCPS needs to provide more training in teaching techniques to teachers and hire additional para-educators to assist teachers in classrooms; MCPS needs to improve community and parental outreach to emphasize the need for students to do their homework."
