Why should voters elect you?

"I have a proven public service track record, elected to the Board of Education, County Council chief of staff, 20-year Silver Spring resident."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"The most important issues facing Montgomery County are linked. The county's failure to invest in transportation infrastructure is linked to traffic congestion. We need a sensible transportation plan that includes the inner Purple Line, expanding Ride On bus routes, building roads and improving intersections. The lack of affordable housing is linked to the fact that the county only produced 210 affordable units last year; the numbers of new homes built is far short of the demand. Creating jobs closer to home would alleviate the need to travel great distances and ease traffic congestion."
