Why should voters elect you?

"Voters should elect me because I won't be a rubber stamp for the Bush agenda and I'm committed to reforming Washington."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"The most urgent problems facing this district are the war in Iraq, the disastrous policies of the Bush administration and the culture of corruption in Washington. Tom Davis has been an outspoken supporter of the war from the beginning and continues to support the Bush strategy of 'staying the course.' I want to move in a new direction and bring our troops home in a responsible manner. Tom Davis supports the Bush agenda 90 percent of the time. I'll stand up to George Bush and fight for policies that benefit us all."
