What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"Arlington is a great community with high-performing public schools. Our most pressing challenges are to end gaps in achievement among different groups of children and make better use of an increasingly tight budget. As a mother of two young boys, I see firsthand what's working in our schools and what's not. As a School Board member, I will expand early childhood education opportunities, an investment that provides lifelong benefits for children, and ensure that we have the very best teachers. As a professional manager, I am direct and no-nonsense, and I want to bring that focus to our educational budget."
