Why should voters elect you?
"Prince William's future is too important to gamble. My 25 years of county experience provide me credible leadership to fight the tough battles on land use/transportation."
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"What some see as separate issues are really one: quality of life. Land use, transportation, and environment are inextricably linked. Failure to address these together has led to sprawl, infrastructure lagging behind development, and traffic congestion causing less time with our families. I can accomplish fundamental change in the dynamic with state and federal government and the development community. We need credible solutions to addressing the impacts of development, improving the transportation network, quality employment in the county and protecting open space for conservation. We must take personal responsibility, and reach out for consensus for a better community."
