A Deadly Crash on the Red Line

A Metrorail train crashed into another train on the same track between the Fort Totten and Takoma stations at 5:02 p.m. yesterday. The trains were supposed to be running on automatic, with all movements controlled by a central computer. The crash killed at least nine and injured at least 70 others. Full coverage »
