Vacant Embassies Become International Eyesores

Each of the embassy buildings below are owned by foreign governments. But diplomatic staffs have moved out, leaving the buildings vacant and, in some cases, in disrepair. Legally regarded as foreign soil, nearly all are exempt from District property taxes and the city's building code.
