The Wone Case: The Players
Washington lawyer Robert E. Wone was stabbed to death while a guest in the Dupont Circle townhouse of Joseph R. Price, Dylan M. Ward and Victor J. Zaborsky in 2006. Hired as general counsel at Radio Free Asia about a month before he was killed. He lived in Fairfax County with his wife.

Age: 32 (When Killed)
A native New Yorker, Wone was a freshman at the College of William & Mary when he met Joseph Price, then a senior, in the 1992-93 academic year. After graduating from law school at the University of Pennsylvania, Wone was an associate for six years at the D.C. firm of Covington & Burling before joining Radio Free Asia.

The domestic partner of Victor Zaborsky, with whom he owned the townhouse at 1509 Swann St. NW where Wone was killed.
Joseph R. Price
Age: Now 38
Price was a partner in the D.C. law firm of Arent Fox at the time of the murder. Born in Athens, Texas, he lived in Key West, Fla., and Okinawa, Japan, before graduating from high school in Bourne, Mass. He and Robert Wone became friends at the College of William & Mary in the early 1990s before Price went to law school at the University of Virginia.
Dylan Ward
Moved in With Price, Zaborsky in 2003
Introduced to Price and Zaborsky in Washington in the early 2000s. He later became their housemate at 1509 Swann St. NW. Authorities said he and Price had a sexual relationship.
Dylan M. Ward
Age: Now 39
Ward was a massage student working for a direct-mail fundraising company at the time of the murder. Born in Seattle, he was raised in Washington state, Germany and Oregon. He received college degrees in international relations, culinary arts and children's literature, and taught English in Asia before moving to the District.
Victor Zaborsky
Became Price's Domestic Partner in 2000
The domestic partner of Joseph Price, with whom he purchased the townhouse at 1509 Swann St. NW where Robert Wone was found dead.
Victor J. Zaborsky
Age: Now 43
Zaborsky was a marketing executive for a milk-industry trade group when the murder occurred. Born in Philadelphia, he lived in Ohio and Georgia before finishing high school in Jenks, Okla. A graduate of the University of Tulsa, he worked at banks in Georgia and D.C. before taking a job with the Milk Processor Education Program in 1996.
