Trash is collected once a week. The city is divided into four sections, with pickup scheduled Tuesdays-Fridays (see map on Web site). Residents are required to provide an approved watertight container of five- to 30-gallon capacity. Curbside collection of recyclable items is done the same day as trash collection. Recyclables should be placed in the green recycling bins provided by the city. Paper and cardboard items should be bundled and placed next to the green bin. Trash and recycling should be placed at the curb by 7 a.m. on the day of collection.
