Iraqis carry the body of a loved-one after digging it up for reburial in the holy city of Karbala. For the Shia of Iraq, the end of Saddam Hussein's rule means greater freedom of them religious beliefs. During the last decades, Shi'ite burials in the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala were restricted. Since the Iraqi government fell, many Shia have been moving their dead to Najaf and Karbala.
