John Edwards pledged Tuesday that he and Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry would defeat terrorists and wage a more effective war on terror than the Bush administration. The vice presidential candidate spoke in Pittsburgh during a town hall meeting at a gym on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University.
