 Heavy Metal Guitarist Shot Dead Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004; 8:25 AM
A man charged onstage at a packed heavy metal show in Columbus, Ohio, and opened fire, killing four people including guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott of the rock band Damageplan before an arriving police officer shot him to death.
