 Glen Echo Voices Monday, Jun. 28, 2004; 4:23 PM WWDC radio reporter Sam Smith recorded voices from protests at Glen Echo Park on June 30, 1960. In this excerpt from his recording, a security guard argues with Howard University student Lawrence Henry, an African-American, about his presence in the park. Henry and a group of protesters were later arrested for trespassing and taken from the park.
