 A Garden of Remembrance Thursday, September 11, 2003; 4:14 PM Students, faculty and other guests gathered at M.V. Leckie Elementary School in Washington, D.C. to dedicate a garden memorial on Thursday's Sept. 11 Anniversary. Four plaques honor student Bernard Curtis Brown, teacher Hilda Taylor, 14-year Navy veteran Johnnie Doctor and 15-year Navy veteran Marsha D. Ratchford. All four were killed in the 2001 attack on the Pentagon.
