Post.com's Sloan Reports From Supreme Court Tuesday, Apr. 27, 2004; 11:48 AM washingtonpost.com's general counsel Cliff Sloan reports from the U.S. Supreme Court which heard arguments on access to records relating to Vice President Cheney's energy strategy. Sloan was a Supreme Court clerk for Justice John Paul Stevens and associate White House counsel in 1994. As associate White House counsel in 1994, Sloan headed the confirmation team for Justice Stephen Breyer to the Supreme Court. Sloan also has argued five cases before the Supreme Court.
