Olympic Preparation on the Potomac

Kayakers Brett Heyl, 22, and Scott Parsons, 25, secured spots on the Olympic whitewater slalom team in late April after finishing eighth and fifth respectively in a key World Cup race in Athens. Ahead of their first Olympic games in August, the two athletes are training each week with their coach, Silvan Poberaj, at a slalom course on the Potomac's Feeder Canal.
