As the prospect of war in Iraq draws closer, Kuwait prepares for a possible attack. Army battalions from the Czech and Slovak Republics are focusing on the nuclear, biological and chemical (NBC) threats. In the city's civil defense centers, volunteers train residents on how to protect themselves if Iraqi missiles land in Kuwait.
