In Solidarity with Spain

A group of Spanish citizens and embassy officials walked from the Spanish Embassy on Pennsylvania Avenue to Washington Circle at noon Friday, where they observed a moment of silence in honor of the victims of the Madrid train bombings one year ago. On March 11, 2004, terrorist train bombings at the Atocha station killed 191 people and wounded 1,500 others at the scene.
