Ships and aircraft sent Sunday to search the waters off Nantucket island where EgyptAir Flight 990 disappeared:

  • HU-25 Falcon airplane from Cape Cod, Mass.

  • 270-foot Coast Guard cutter Spencer, with search helicopter, from Boston.

  • 225-foot Coast Guard cutter Juniper from Newport, R.I.

  • 210-foot Coast Guard cutter Reliance, with search helicopter, from Portsmouth, N.H.

  • 110-foot Coast Guard cutters Monomoy from Woods Hole, Mass., and Bainbridge Island from Sandy Hook, N.J.

  • 87-foot Coast Guard cutter Hammerhead from Woods Hole.

  • C-130 Hercules long-range search airplane from Elizabeth City, N.C.

  • HH-65 Dolphin helicopter from Atlantic City, N.J.

  • HH-60 Jayhawk helicopter from Cape Cod.

  • Navy P-3 Orion long-range reconnaissance plane, from Brunswick, Me.

  • The Grapple, Navy search and rescue vessel from Little Creek, Va.
