At Issue: Whether the Individuals With Disabilities Education Act requires a public school district to provide nursing services to a quadriplegic student. Decision: The justices ruled that the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) does require the public school district to provide Garret with the nursing services he requires during school hours.
