Supreme Court of the United States
Launched in May 2000, the U.S. Supreme Court's official Web site features opinions in ASCII and PDF format, a court calendar, opinions, orders, court rules, links to related government Web sites and information on visiting the court and other tips from the office of public information.

FindLaw Internet Legal Resources
The Supreme Court section contains a searchable database of opinions and listing of cases dating back to 1893 and a version of the U.S. Constitution annotated by the Library of Congress' Congressional Research Service. The site also includes directories of U.S. Circuit and District courts, law reviews, legal news and discussion groups for legal professionals and students.

Oyez Oyez Oyez
A searchable database of selected cases including both summaries of written decisions and oral arguments in Real Audio. Biographies of every Supreme Court justice, including links to their opinions, and a Quicktime VR virtual tour of the Supreme Court. In addition, "The Supreme Court's Greatest Hits" CD-ROM is available for purchase online.

Court TV Law Center Library
Supreme Court news and decisions, biographies of Supreme Court justices, a legal glossary and a guide to the federal courts.

House of Representatives Internet Law Library
Searchable U.S. Code, federal, state and territorial laws, international treaties, code of federal regulations, law school library catalogues and resources.

Thomas
The Library of Congress' searchable database of legislation and the Congressional Record.

United States Federal Judiciary
The home page for the federal court system includes an explanation of the judicial process and the The Third Branch, the federal courts newsletter. It also features links to all U.S. District Court Web sites.

Project Hermes
A project of Cornell University Law School's Legal Information Institute, Hermes is a pipeline through which the Supreme Court distributes its decisions electronically. Currently, about 580 historic decisions are available online, as well as all of the court's decisions since May 1990. Another section of the Cornell Law School site features profiles of the sitting justices.
