| | GOP Convention: TV and Radio Coverage Highlights of nationally broadcast convention coverage. All times are Eastern, and the schedule is subject to change.
ABC: Live coverage, anchored by Peter Jennings, on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 to 11 p.m., and on Thursday from 9 to 11 p.m. Live reports on the convention opening will be aired during regular prime-time programming Monday. CBS: "The CBS Evening News With Dan Rather," from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., will include analysis of each day's convention events. Monday and Tuesday evenings, segments of "48 Hours" and "60 Minutes II" respectively, each beginning at 10 p.m., will feature live coverage. Live, extended coverage will begin at 10 p.m. Wednesday and 9 p.m. Thursday. CNN: A "Republican National Convention Special" will provide live coverage from 7 to 11 p.m. each day, with an additional segment from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday. The special will be anchored by Bernard Shaw, Judy Woodruff and Jeff Greenfield. A "Post Convention Wrap-Up" will air each evening from 11 p.m. to midnight. "Inside Politics" will report live from the convention from 5 to 6 p.m., and Larry King Live will air from 9 to 10 p.m. and midnight to 1 a.m. C-SPAN: Live, uninterrupted gavel-to-gavel coverage from 10 a.m. to midnight Monday and 6 p.m. to midnight Tuesday through Thursday. FOX: Live coverage beginning at 8 p.m. each night. Coverage will include Tony Snow of "Fox News Sunday" anchoring from the floor, with commentary and analysis offered by political experts in the studio. MSNBC: Live, gavel-to-gavel coverage, including platform hearings. Beginning at 10 each morning of the conventions, "Morning Line" will broadcast from the floor, followed by live coverage from noon to 5 p.m. NBC: "NBC Nightly News" will provide coverage from 6:30 to 7 p.m. each day. Live "Decision 2000" reports anchored by Tom Brokaw and Tim Russert will be broadcast from 10 to 11 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30 to 11 p.m. Thursday. PBS: Live prime-time coverage from 8 to 11 p.m. each evening on "The Newshour." Hosted by Jim Lehrer, "The NewsHour" will broadcast from the floor, with live programming interspersed with analysis and on-site interviews with delegates and participants.
