By participating in "Winter Storm Views" participants agree to these Terms and Conditions.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

This promotion is open to residents of the the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia, 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Entries must be submitted by the original photographer (participant) to snow@wpni.com or by visiting www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/opinions/snow/winterstormimages.html. Images of a residence, must not clearly identify the place of residence. If the address is recognizable, the photo will not be used. Submissions must include participant's name, address, phone number and email address. Only one photo per entry/person.

By submitting your material, for good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency and receipt of which you hereby grant to Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive, LLC ("WPNI") and its parent and affiliates a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to edit, publish, rerun, reproduce, use, syndicate, license, print, sublicense, distribute, and otherwise exhibit the materials you submit, or any portion thereof, as incorporated in any of their programming or the promotion thereof, in any manner and in any medium or forum, whether now known or hereafter devised, without payment to you or any third party.

You represent and warrant to WPNI that you have the full legal right, power, and authority to grant WPNI the license provided for herein, that you own or control all rights to the materials you submitted for the purposes contemplated in this license and that neither the materials nor the exercise of the rights granted herein shall infringe upon or violate the intellectual property or proprietary right of, right of privacy or right of publicity of, or constitute a libel or slander against, or violate any common law or any other right of, any person or entity. This license shall be governed by the laws of the State of Virginia.

WPNI has the right to edit and/or alter any submission. WPNI reserves the right not to use the material you submit at all and/or as little of the material as it chooses.

You acknowledge and agree that by submitting your material you are not entering into an employment relationship with WPNI and that no relationship is created other than licensor/licensee.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. By participating, participants release WPNI and The Washington Post, its affiliated, parent, and subsidiary companies and partners, its employees, agents and officers, advertising and promotion agencies, as well as all others associated with the development and execution of this promotion, from and against any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from the promotion. Participant releases the Sponsor in case of abuse from any and all liability from third party and agrees to indemnify the Sponsor for all loss, damage, costs or claims related to this abuse.

INDEMNITY. Participants agree to indemnify WPNI and The Washington Post, their parents, affiliates and their agencies and their respective officers, employees, managers, agents, successors or assignees, from any and all claims, damages, causes of action or injuries that result from, or are related to, participants' participation in this promotion, including any claims, damages or causes of action that arise due to the content within participants' photograph.
