Jackie Robinson: Breaking the Color Barrier

In 1947, Jackie Robinson cleared a path for minority athletes by becoming the first African American to play Major League Baseball. The Brooklyn Dodgers' infielder played on six World Series teams and was a member of the Civil Rights Movement.
