Retaliation Feared After Attack on Shrine
Explosions destroyed minarets of the revered Askariya shrine in Samarra, Iraq on June 13, 2007, where an attack last year plunged Iraq into sectarian violence. No one was injured in the blasts, but officials fear the event will spark a bloody wave of retaliatory attacks.
