The People of Folklife: Tony Stevenson

"The Roots of Virginia Culture," one of the themes of this year's Smithsonian Folklife Festival, features performers and craftspeople representing the diverse communities that mingled in Virginia during the state's earliest days. One of those craftspersons is Tony Stevenson, a rocking horse builder from Kent, England.
