Hurricane Dean Lashes the Caribbean and Mexico
Hurricane Dean bashed onto the Yucatan Peninsula as a massive Category 5 storm early Aug. 21, 2007 near the Costa Maya cruise ship port, battering the landscape with 160 mph winds as it coursed across a lightly populated area at the southern end of the peninsula close to the Belize border.
