The Clinton Years – 1992
As Election Day neared, Clinton maintained his lead over President Bush but faced a renewed threat from Perot as the third-party candidate appeared to pick up steam late in the race. Clinton honed his message as an experienced outsider while appropriating some of Perot's anti-Washington rhetoric.
