The Clinton Years – 1998
On December 20, Bill Clinton became only the second U.S. president to be impeached after the House of Reprentatives charged him with perjury and obstruction of justice. A defiant Clinton stood firm, though, rejecting calls for his resignation and maintaining the support of Democratic Party leaders.
