The Clinton Years – 1998
On a mid-December trip to Israel, Clinton urged support for the floundering Wye River peace accord that he helped broker in the fall, though the president received little support from Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu. During his visit, Clinton visited the grave of slain leader Yitzhak Rabin.
