| Mateus Chitangenda, Fernando Chitala and Enoke Chisingi and their families have been displaced by war to the town of Kunhinga, in central Angola.

He contributed to a number of collective exhibitions of South African photographers and had a 2001 solo exhibition, "Quito, Angola," in the South African Museum.
