A photojournalist with Gamma since 1988, Quidu has covered conflicts in Afghanistan, Lebanon, the Persian Gulf, the former Yugoslavia, Rwanda, Chechnya and other war zones. His images are regularly published in the world's largest news magazines. His report on the fall of Slobodan Milosevic in Belgrade was honored at the World Press Photo awards. Of his work, he says, "Often, images are the only things we retain of history."
